I bought these headphones nearly a month ago and have used them almost daily, the battery life is brilliant and the sound quality is like nothing ive had before. The noise cancellations is fantastic, really worth the money and you can feel the premium quality in the build.

Easy to use, no hassle adjusting headphone, sturdy case, best sounds ever

I bought these for their sound cancelling capability at an affordable rate. I use them for my commute and for the most part they do their job well. They're comfortable for long periods of time, though I do find myself adjusting them on the top of my head to alleviate pressure on my scalp. After researching, I chose these over the Apple equivalents and I'm glad I chose these instead. I also use them while gaming, and so far they're pretty good. I'm not a fan of how many apps I've had to download as most aren't relevant to me. I'm still not sure if the 360 sound is happening, but it does give the general impression of direction.

My first experience of a quality set of blurtooth headphones and they are brilliant. I knew Sony had brought the WH-1000XM5 model out but I had read so many good reviews of the older model that I bought them at a very competitive price.

Perfect size and colour and great sound quality with excellent noise cancellation.

I bought this a month ago and the quality is great, but sometimes when I move my head slightly the material makes this annoying sound as if it is creaking. This is quite annoying when listening to music. Also, when on public transport and noise cancelling is on, there is a lot of popping in the sound. It also cuts out some sound when I am using my laptop. This may be an issue with mine and not others but I don’t know. Please let me know if anyone else’s does this or if i should get them replaced.

I was sure that I was going to get top quality listening from these headphones. THe only uncertainty was whether they would be comfortable enough. They were" Enough said :D

I had these bought for me as a Christmas present and I am blown away how good they are. Amazing sound and functionality. Only advice is they are not waterproof so not really ok for gym sessions or running where you get sweaty. But honestly they are amazing.

Totally immersive sounds, couldn't give a higher recommendation

As a hearing aid wearer, it can be hard to hear the TV clearly. My Sony headphones have solved the problem and I can enjoy TV without missing most of the audio.

I bought these headphones from John Lewis before Christmas 2024. I have used these for a month now and found them to be very comfortable with good sound quality. Good battery life and overall a great product.

Got them as a christmas present and already less than a month later they wont charge above 80%

These headphones have been amazing straight out of the box. Great sound, comfortable to wear and a really good and intuitive app. The only gripe being that i have to use two apps but they give all the functionality I can see anyone needing. I use them for work calls and the sound and microphone work really well. Charged them a month ago and they still have 50% so great battery life. Very happy so far and can highly recommend

Best sound quality I've heard in a pair of headphones

Absolutely love these headphones, what suprised me most was how light they are compared with my old wired headphones. The sound is amazingly good. Having never had anc on my old ones, then wow what a difference. Very pleased all round.

The best selling point for this is the NC features and the carry case, everything else like build quality, sound output and usability is subpar given the competition in its price range. No audio via USB-C, touch pad is one sided and nowhere near as convenient as physical buttons for volume. One would expect Dolby Atmos from these yet it's absent, sound is not as "3D"/surrounding as competition. Though one thing to appreciate still is the fairly neutral profile. Base Airpods have better sound than these, and these are 40mm drivers. Personally fits well, colleagues that recommended this also say the same, out head size ranges from large to small. Sits well and doesn't interfere with eyewear but this comes at the cost of non-durable earmuffs for which I have no confidence in to survive a simple user more than a few months without tears.

After trying several headphones, I went for the Sony wh1000xm 4, I tried the xm5 but the sound on xm4 is way better, even tried Apple max but Sony still the best

Comfy to wear, great sound difficult to connect to some devices instructions assume you use your phone all the time to listen to music.

Absloutely great product with adorable noise cancelling features.

easy to set up, comfortable and lightweight, great sound

I had been eyeing these headphones up for a while ever since I auditioned a pair in John Lewis a couple of years ago. I saw a deal on Amazon for these Sony's recently which was a no brainer. The noise cancelling ability is truly fantastic and the sound quality has depth with terrific clarity and detail. I listen to a whole variety of music from piano, big band, progressive rock from Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Pink Floyd etc to orchestral. Whatever I throw at these headphones they absolutely deliver. They connected easily and quickly to my phone which is always good. They are supplied with a case to keep them in pristine condition too. Highly recommended!

I bought these a month ago to use on long haul flights and now I can't believe I ever managed without them! The noise cancellation function is so useful and I love the quality of the sound when I play music. I won't ever go without these!
