Got these recently after reading/watching several reviews - I was impressed by how small the case is and how light it is, along with the buds themselves. They block a lot of noise passively and the ANC really performs well, not needing much volume to block it completely. On first try, I used these for approximately 3 hours with no ear fatigue at all, which was great. The product also has a nice matte feel, but I am definitely in the market for a protective case as I will have these on the go. I'm yet to experience any scenarios where these have slipped out of my ears and the side-profile is very low. The app is OK, but not user friendly enough in a way that's streamlined. This would be my only drawback although this is a separate part of the product itself in my opinion.

I bought these earbuds just over a year ago and now the battery of the left earbuds drains after 5 minutes. Extremely disappointed! Just because the product is a couple months over warranty, I am left with a nearly unusable product.

Battery dies in 30 minutes

After 13 months (just after 12 mo warranty) the battery life immediately dropped from hours to less than 30 minutes. Customer service provided no support for the product and the process to call, upload proof of purchase (which didn't work), and call again was cumbersome and ineffective. Factory reset, changing settings, cleaning case did not help. Sony has lost a customer and some reputation.

I loved these earbuds - great sound, lightweight and easy to wear all day. After having them for less than two years, however, the right bud suddenly (over a matter of a couple of weeks) started draining very quickly - at one point it only lasted 15 minutes. I suspect this may be a software problem, particularly as a reset increased the battery life to about an hour. I contacted Sony and was told I could pay £30 to have the fault assessed, plus an unknown amount for the actual repair - when I pointed out I believed this to be a fault given the suddenness of the problem and the number of other people online who reported the same issue, I received a rather curt reply with a link to the warranty policy. Wow Sony, 0/10 for customer service.

I won't be purchasing another Sony product again! The battery Issue is the worse I've ever encountered. My left ear bud stays charged for 3 minutes. The right stays charged for 1 hour. I went as far as ordering a replacement left earbud, only for the left and right to disconnect every couple seconds.

Only had these a few days before sending back to Amazon. Fully charged car and buds but battery life was awful. It actually struggled to update the firmware since the battery wouldnt last the 20mins needed! After 3 attempts managed to get latest version, but still didn't fix. 100% battery... After 5mins had 48%, after 10mins 2%. Sent back and bought another brand since the Sony warranty required posting to other side of the country and waiting. Sound quality was good though while it was on, and multipoint worked fine too. Maybe mine was from a bad batch :(

I originally purchased this product from Best Buy in February of 2023. They worked great for the first year and then the left ear bud starting losing battery life. The buds would be fully charged and within 5 minutes the left bud would shut off and have zero battery life. This is a huge problem with these ear buds and Sony is very aware of the issue. I tried to see if Best Buy would replace them however they said I had to go back to the manufacturer. Yesterday I called Sony’s customer service number, 239-245-6366, and I finally reached a live voice and after a brief discussion and giving him all the model info he said they would replace them at no charge. I was satisfied with this as my belief is that’s how a good company should handle a known manufacturing issue and to satisfy a loyal customer. This morning I received a phone call from another Sony service rep and I was informed that the original representative made a mistake and they were not going to replace my ear buds. This to me is an example of terrible customer service and customer relations. Not only did you sell me a faulty product but you also weren’t truthful with me when I called your company. In this where Sony has made multiple mistakes your number one goal should be to make the situation right and they did not. I will never buy another Sony product and if I wanted a pair of wireless ear buds I would definitely not buy these.

I was given a present of earbuds as I need Bluetooth connection for my phone. I have found them useful but a bit fiddlie to use and I am disappointed in the volume and noise cancelling, I couldn’t use them on a recent flight engine noise was to great.

After owning AirPods Pro 2 and these.. I definitely use these more as I like to sleep listening to music sometimes and these are so much comfier and can lie on the pillow with then in ear. As with AirPods you can’t.. sound quality is really good, and the battery like is more like 10-12 hours for the buds per charge especially if you turn the noise cancellation or ambient mode off. They last plenty long enough!

Worked really great for about 6 months. After 6 months the right earbud stopped registering when it was removed from the case. Would need to put it back and take it out a couple times before it reconnected to the phone. After about 12 months the left ear bud started having issues with the battery only lasting about 20 to 30 minutes before completely dying. I was really hoping that these were going to last a lot longer than this.

Bought these headphones 9 months ago and they're not even useful as paperweights anymore. About a month ago, the left earphone started giving off an annoying buzzing tone when noise cancelling & adaptive sound were engaged. No damage to the headphones, headphone are kept clean with a dry cloth. Just started acting up out of the blue. None of the the fixes online seemed to help. A few weeks later, I pulled my left earphone out, and the black screen that detects when you have the earphones on or off just fell off into my ear. The adhesive just came unglued. Luckily I got it out before it went any further back. Sony customer service doesn't seem to think their products breaking off small pieces into people's ears is a big deal. I'd expect this kind of quality from Skullcandy, not Sony. Sony used to set the standard for mid-high quality audio. This is just disappointing.

Maybe I'm used to my bare bones earbuds but these are possible the most finicky ones I've ever seen. Granted great sound and high tech features like voice passthrough and suppression however pairing them is a nuisance. WARNING if you lose one dont unpair it or get a new phone unless you want e-waste

I’ve been a loyal Sony customer for years. I’ve purchased several products, including a pair of earbuds for myself and recently as a Christmas gift for my brother. I’ve always associated Sony with quality, but my recent experiences deeply disappointed me. In 2023, I purchased a pair of Sony earbuds. They arrived defective, with serious battery issues. Sony replaced them under warranty, which was appreciated. However, the replacement pair lasted just over a year before the same battery issue reappeared, conveniently outside the warranty period. It’s unacceptable for a premium product to fail so consistently. Recurring issues with battery life across multiple pairs suggest a systemic problem.I invested in Sony because I believed in their quality and customer care. However, I feel abandoned when these products fail just outside the warranty period. As a loyal customer, I expected better. I’m not asking for anything unreasonable. I would appreciate a replacement or repair to show Sony’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. If this issue isn't addressed, I will have no choice but to consider other brands in the future. I truly hope Sony values their loyal customers enough to make this right. It's hard to justify staying with a brand that doesn’t seem to care when things go wrong.

There were mixed reviews from different reviewers in social media but I went ahead to purchase the LinkBuds S as I trust Sony for quality from all my past purchases. And I am glad the LinkBuds S is all good from size, battery performance and most importantly the sound quality. Great Noise Cancelation and good for making call too. I like the Sound Connect app which is simple to use and customizing my LinkBuds S. It is light that I can wear it comfortably. I had yet to setup spatial sound.

Its my first time having a wireless earphones and I am really happy with the product as it come with noise cancellation when there’s no music play, so I can use it for studying at public area. The earbuds part came with different sizes too so you get to choose the most suitable and comfortable size for yourself. Overall I enjoy using it.

I was impressed with the sound but unfortunately had to return them as they were constantly falling out of my ear even when I tried all the different ear bud sizes. It was frustrating as every time I could feel them coming out I would push them back in but this caused the bud to switch off. I’m going back to my old pair ( sound sport ) Sorry Sony it’s a no from me.

It was a gift which I’m generally happy with. Came with a good range of plugs for the ear. Not too heavy and isn’t inclined to fall out. Sound is good but can stop in one ear from time to time. Controls can be a little fussy as when you are putting them in you need to hold the edges or it thinks you are giving it taps for various things. Its alerts for battery levels are good. Quite compact which is good so easy to pocket. They slip onto the charge/storage box very easily. Connects easily to different devices. Only concern is sound cutting out in one ear..seems a random fault and doesn’t occur often.
